UWTV reaches nearly 2 million households in Washington state through cable television. UWTV programs are further distributed through ResearchChannel, a consortium of academic and research institutions, including the University of Washington. ResearchChannel reaches more than 35 million homes, or one-third of all households, via cable, satellite and cable video-on-demand television.

Broadcast programs are encoded and made available for webstreaming, online video on demand and podcasting at uwtv.org and researchchannel.org. Millions of people access UWTV videos through both Web sites, as well as through ResearchChannel’s iTunes U and YouTube sites.
